On October 26, an open house was held at Cambridge Apartments in Takoma Park to celebrate the completion of renovations to the community room. Improvements included construction of computer / business center and a kitchen, as well as installation of a large screen television and new furniture. Our special guest was Takoma Park City Councilperson Jarrett Smith (Ward 5), who made some brief remarks and helped us award door prizes to a number of lucky residents. The renovated community room will also be for the benefit of adjacent Winslow House Apartments.
